This is a motivating story of the founder of one of the biggest industries of India which is Reliance Industries. Dhirubhai Dhirubhai Ambani was born at Junagadh to Hirachand Ambani and Jamnaben and they had very limited resources. He used to sell various eatables to people in Mount Girnar. When he attained the age of “sweet sixteen”, he decided to move to Yemen. There he got an opportunity to work with A. Besse & Co. for a pay of Rs. 300. After two years, Dhirubhai was promoted to supervise the company’s filling station at the port of Aden. He married Kokilaben and had four children namely; Mukesh Ambani, Anil Ambani, Nina Kothari and Deepti Salgaocar.

He returned to India in the year 1962 and established the Reliance Commercial Corporation(RCC) with an investment of Rs. 15k. The main business of RCC was to export spices and import polyester yarn. The maiden office of the RCC was set up in Masjid Bunder.

Dhirubhai ended his partnership with Mr. Damani in the year 1965 and he decided to start the business on his own. He used to take tough decisions for the betterment of the company.At this period of time, Dhirubhai lived in one bedroom apartment alongwith his family in Bhuleshwar,Mumbai. But in the year 1968 he shifted to an apartment at Altamount Road in South Mumbai.

His biggest accomplishment was that he made people realise that everything is possible which justifies the campaign which was once started by Reliance “Karlo Duniya Muthhi Mein”. He made a good name and fame not only in India but also worldwide. He would be viewed as a role model and as a source of inspiration for many Indians for a long long time.
