Community skill park for youths in Kerala for honing their entrepreneurial skills

News sources report that Kerala will not increase the employability of the youth in the state of Kerala. This is a new generation approach and people are all praises for that. A community skill park will be opened a Chavara, which will be the first community skill park in India. This will also help develop their skills to an enormous extent. The Kerala Chief Minister was full of commandment for such a venture.

The skill park is called Kaushal Kendra and it is located in Kollam district, seventy kilometers away from the city. The Chief Minister has to say, Keralite youths who excel in studies need that special finishing touch when it comes to employment and the skill park should suffice in lending them special training in all that. He said, that the Kaushal Kendra will help the students with a regular boost to their spirits and that that government would be happy to extend their overall support in every way to this project. The state has wasted a lot of opportunity but people would use the venture to progress towards the digital enhancement as in the cases of other states and countries.

Centers would be set up in Kannur, Palakkad and Kozhikode for the development agencies of nodal skills and this would be done by the Academy for skills and excellence in Kerala in the first phase of the project. In the next phases, the other districts will boast of the Kaushal Kendras to be set up in the village areas. This would be a globally competitive project for the youths. The skill development centers are usually meant for those who dropout in schools but in other countries over the last couple of years the skill development centers were studied very carefully before the building of this center which may be very suitable for the youths in India.

This center will have all unique world class facilities, and with an investment of 1.5 crores in this venture, it will work on the four pivotal points like career guidance, assessment, career aptitude, global assessment, to provide guidance through the courses. These courses would be best suited to them with the regard for the educational and socio economic backgrounds.

They would also provide a very technically enhanced digital library, which would be tied up with the World Library and that would enable them to digitally access all authenticated and digitized content all over the world. There would be proper language laboratory that should enable the students to learn English proficiently.

There would arrangements for rooms for multi skills along with facilities of video conferencing. This should also act as some training facility and a virtual classroom too. These would directly depend on the needs of the industry. There would also be facilities for training all round the year. These would go on every time from the industrial partners support so that there are placement facilities for employment to the youth through this skill development project. Engineering students in Kerala will also be able to take a year’s break in entrepreneurship. This is to promote the zeal of entrepreneurship among the youths in Kerala that the state government in Kerala allows the students to take a year-long break for pursuing their dreams of becoming an entrepreneur, said sources.
